What this installs

  • One application, one bundled engine

DeepSweep Governance Studio, plus the review engine it runs on, bundled inside the application itself. Two files on disk: the app and its data folder.

  • Nothing is placed on your PATH

No command is installed, no shell profile is edited, no symlink is created in /usr/local/bin. Removing the application removes everything it added.

  • No background service without your consent

Nothing runs at login, and no daemon or scheduled task is registered, unless you turn it on inside the app. It runs when you open it.

  • Local-first — your code is never uploaded

Reviews run on your machine against configuration metadata. Source code is not read for content, not copied, and not sent anywhere.

DeepSweep is distributed only from deepsweep.ai and through the IDE extension listing. There is no Homebrew tap, no Scoop bucket, no npm package and no PyPI package — if you find one, it is not ours. See how Studio works.
